Summary
MultipleFortnitedataminers have said thatFall Guys-inspired minigames are coming to Epic’s battle royale mode as part of a crossover event. The previously leakedFortnitecollaboration is expected to launch sometime this summer.
Beginning in late 2023,Fortnitedataminers began toencounterFall Guys-themed filesthat mentioned the game’s “Beans” characters and some sort of minigame. These discoveries were made around the same time thatFortniteleakers were finding evidence of major new modes separate from Epic’s standard battle royale, likeLEGO Fortniteand Rocket Racing, which naturally led many to assume that theFall Guysmode would get the same treatment, but that seems not to be the case.

FortnitedataminersHypex, Loolo_Wrld, and Wensoing say theFall Guysminigames will be playable during a standard battle royale match. Users can interact with these obstacle courses mid-game, which will turn them into aFall GuysBean and pit them against other players. Those who win a course will apparently receive bonus XP and valuable loot. The dataminers compared the feature toChapter 2 Season 7’s Mothership, which players could enter to complete a unique minigame that rewarded winners with a Legendary Vault. It’s still unclear how many courses will be available in each match, how many players can participate in a race, and what exactly the rewards are, but this information will likely be revealed in greater detail as theFall Guyscrossover approaches, assuming these leaks are accurate.
When Could These Fall Guys Minigames Come to Fortnite?
A recentlyleakedFortnite2024 roadmapput theFall Guysevent’s release date in late May or early June, followed by Metallica andPirates of the Caribbeancollaborations later in the summer. However, the roadmap’s validity has not been confirmed yet.
As for other new leaks,Fortnite’s vehicles are apparently getting a hijackingmechanic in Chapter 5 Season 3, which seems to have an apocalyptic,Mad Max-like theme according to the leaked roadmap. However, if the leaks are accurate, it doesn’t seem that players will be jumping from car to car as seen in the popular movie franchise, but will instead be limited to hijacking that is similar toGrand Theft Auto.
AnotherFortniteleak claims that the Item Shopcould receive a new “Billboard” feature very soon. Apparently, Epic Games internally tested the feature to advertise a new Leia Organa skin that will be added on May 3 withFortnite’sStar Warsevent, which is when fans could see Billboards for the first time.
