A new update shared byFortniteleaker iFireMonkey via fellow leaker BarbieharpFN is teasing several details aboutthe impendingDoctor Whocollaboration. According to the post, theDoctor Whoevent is currently slated for sometime in December or January with a coinciding Mini Event Pass. The leak suggests the crossover had originally been planned for November, however it was later re-scheduled due to a collaboration with LEGO. Previous rumors have already hinted at amajor upcoming project betweenFortniteand LEGO, believed to be the November event.

While the new update confirms theDoctor Whocollaboration withFortniteis still planned, the post revealed one part of previous leaks would not be coming. A skin based on the 60th anniversary appearance of the Fifteenth Doctor, played byRwandan-Scottish actor Ncuti Gatwa, has reportedly been scrapped. TheDoctor Whocollaboration is expected to feature portrayals of the character based on both Gatwa and the iconic David Tennant, who played both the Tenth and Fourteenth Doctors.Fortnite’s collaboration will likely coincide with Gatwa’s debut as the character, set to premiere during the 2023 holiday season.
