Fortnitemares 2023 is Bringing Some Old Favorites and New Surprises to Fortnite
The game has unvaultedFortnite’s Fortnitemares tradition, the Pumpkin Launcher, a Halloween-themed reskin of the Rocket Launcher. In addition, it has introduced the Wood Stake Shotgun, a shotgun variant with longer range than normal, as well as bonus damage against the NPC version of Kado Thorne. Speaking of Thorne, he will be on the map as a boss NPC, and defeating him will reward players with Thorne’s Vampiric Blade. It functions like the Kinetic Blade introduced in Chapter 4 Season 2, with the added ability to heal upon dealing damage. Also unvaulted for the occasion is another Fortnitemares classic inFortnite’s Witch’s Broom mobility item. Bogstick, Phantom Meowscles, and Festival Phaedra are all variants of oldFortnitefavorites, with new creation Seth also joining.
