The Witcher 3: Wild Huntcontinues to be one of the most played RPGs of all time, with people posting memes and funny things happening even today, almost 7 years after it was released. Geralt’s trusty mount, Roach, is often a part of these videos, with the very latest one putting her aerodynamic abilities to test.
Namely, while Geralt can traverse most ofThe Witcher 3’s massive open world with Roach, she is even more important when the famous witcher needs to race. It was during one of these races that one player realized Roach’s full potential, as she bugged out and tilted herself into the ground when galloping down a slope.

The short video was posted by randomdude604 on one of the most popularWitcher-themed subReddits, and it features the specific race that takes place afterGeralt’s trusted friend Eskelhad helped him hunt down the Forktail that was harassing the local wildlife near the witcher fort, Kaer Morhen. While the whole activity was supposed to be a simple and relaxing romp down the hill as the two witchers wind down, Roach had other things in mind.
Though it might seem slightly ridiculous that bugs such as these would still be present in as high-profile of a game asThe Witcher 3: Wild Huntso long after its launch, it’s obvious that this is one of thebiggest open-world games of all time. In effect, this is a rather trivial and funny bug that seems to crop up rarely enough not to matter too much, so it probably wasn’t worth bothering with in the first place.
There are rumors, too, that the developer ofThe Witcher 3,CD Projekt RED’s next open-world gamecould be aWitchertitle, though there’s not much to go on just yet. In the meantime, the studio’s work onCyberpunk 2077continues, and it’s easy to see why it wouldn’t make sense to worry about a meme-worthy Roach bug that crops up every now and then.
Worth remembering is the fact thatThe Witcher 3recieved a massive player spikedue to the successful launch of season 2 of Netflix’sWitchershow. With the franchise’s popularity steadily rising as new media gets released, and with the game’s next-gen upgrade slated to come out in the first half of 2022, it’s not hard to see why people are still having fun with CD Projekt RED’s finest release yet.
The Witcher 3: Wild Huntis currently available on PC, PS4, Xbox One, and the Nintendo Switch, and its next-gen upgrade is coming out for PS5 and Xbox Series platforms in Q2 2022.
