A new post on the officialGenshin ImpactLeaks subReddit has revealed more information about Dehya’s exact release date. According to the leak, Dehya will appear on the first banner cycle forGenshin Impactversion 3.5which will arrive on March 1. Dehya will be accompanied by another five-star character, the Electro user Cyno who made his last banner appearance back in the first half of update 3.1. Cyno did not receive much attention in his first banner, probably because many players tried to save up additional Primogems for more popular characters like Nilou, Nahida, and the Wanderer

Many fans in the comment section claim it’s ironic that these two characters have been placed on the same banner since they have similar combat animations.Cyno’s Elemental Burstallows him to become the Pactsword Pathclearer which infuses his Normal, Charged, and Plunging Attacks with Electro damage. The burst also increases his Elemental Mastery and resistance to interruption.

According to recent beta leaks,Dehya’s Elemental Burst will be very similar, and it will allow her to enter the Blazing Lioness state which causes her to throw away her weapon and switch to hand-to-hand combat. While this effect is active, Dehya’s Normal Attacks will deal massive amounts of Pyro damage. At the end of the burst’s duration, Dehya will perform an Incineration Drive kick that also deals Pyro damage in a large area.

The leak also reveals that Dehya and Cyno will have their signature weapon placed on the next limited weapon banner.Dehya’s Beacon of the Reed Sea will be a new claymorethat will perfectly fit her bruiser-like play style. Its passive effect increases the weapon holder’s ATK by 20% for 8 seconds after an Elemental Skill hits an enemy. Players will also receive a 32% HP buff if they are not protected by a shield.

Genshin Impactis now available on Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5. A Switch version is in development.
