With the arrival of playable Dendro characters in the new land of Sumeru, all seven of the elements inGenshin Impactare now represented. While there may only be 4 Dendro characters so far, that does mean that the new element is gaining rapidly on Geo, currently the least represented inGenshin Impact.
Despiteonly having 7 playable characters, Geo remains one of the most interesting elements inGenshin Impact, with a focus on defense and a unique reaction that creates powerful shields. Geo is the element of stability and the earth, with its wielders all sharing a distinct streak of determination.
Geo Characters From Mondstadt in Genshin Impact
Albedo
The only 5-star Geo character in Mondstadt is also one of the most mysterious figures in the game, with a backstory that links him to the cursed land of Khaenri’ah. To most, Albedo is the known as thegenius but reclusive Alchemistwho leads the Investigation Team of the Knights of Favonius. However, his true nature, which is hinted at throughout the game before finally being revealed in the quest Shadows Amidst Snowdrifts, is an artificial human created by the dangerous Khaenri’ah alchemist Gold, who once flooded Tevyat with a monster invasion.
Noelle
Noelle is a 4-star Geo character who longs tojoin the Knights of Favonius, but has consistently failed the tests required for entry. Instead, she works as a maid for the Knights, where she has gained a reputation as a perfect employee through her ability to be everywhere at once, helping Knights, organizing the headquarters, and generally solving problems.
Geo Characters From Liyue in Genshin Impact
Ningguang
As one of the seven members of the Liyue Qixing, the powerful merchant council that governs the city of Liyue,Ningguang has a reputation for wealth, elegance, intelligence, and ruthlessness. A 4-star Geo character, Ningguang spends most of her time in the floating Jade Palace, where she throws the shredded remains of her work to fall like snow on the city below, or on the streets of Liyue, mingling with the merchants, children, and nobles of the city as the Qixing’s most popular member.
Yun Jin
Another 4-star Geo character from Liyue, Yun Jin is also a famous figure in the city, but for a very different reason. Singer, actor, playwright, and director of the Yun-Han Opera Troupe,Yun Jin is known across Liyuefor her talent and elegance. What most of her fans don’t know however, is that Yun Jin is a superfan of the rock ‘n’ roll performances of Xinyan, a seriously non-traditional break from her normally conservative persona.
Zhongli
When players first meetZhongli inGenshin Impact, they know him only as the mysterious consultant of the Wangsheng Funeral Parlor. It’s only later that his true identity is revealed, not merely a 5-star Geo character, but also the current vessel of the Geo Archon Morax, god of Liyue, and patron of all Geo-wielders. Zhongli is the oldest living god in Tevyat, and inventor of the universal currency Mora.
Geo Characters From Inazuma in Genshin Impact
Arataki Itto
The only 5-star Geo character in Inazuma,Arataki Itto is proud of his Oni heritageand expresses it through a love of mischief and antics in his native Inazuma City. Head of the Arataki Gang, Itto’s fearsome appearance belies his simple, good-hearted nature, and he and his friends do their best to help their community.
Gorou
General and commander of the Watatsumi Army,4-star Geo character Gorouis a faithful supporter of Sangonomiya Kokomi. Although the adrenaline of battle can often carry him away, Gorou is known by his allies as a great general and fearless warrior, taking the lead in the fight against the Raiden Shogun and her Vision Hunt Decree. Known as the “Ever-victorious pointy-eared general”, Gorou is beloved by his soldiers and manages to hold the line even against the superior armies of the Shogun.
