AGenshin Impactfan has created an interesting chart ranking the game’s playable characters based on their living conditions. During their journey through the world of Teyvat, players can come across numerous different characters, some of which become part of the roster.
Almost every playable character in the roster had its own story quest, which usually gives more information about their background. While someGenshin Impactcharacters live in villas and palaces, others wander through the world without having a place they can call home.

Reddit user TragicLetdown has shared an unusual tier list that divides the characters by the quality of their residence. At the top of the list are characters who probably have a great place to live like thePyro user Diluc who has his own Dawn Winerylocated in the subarea named Windwail Highland in the region of Mondstadt. One of the early quests revealed that the winery is so successful that it could effectively supply the entire wine industry in the whole region. The two siblings, Ayaka and Ayato Kamisato, are placed in the same category as Diluc since they own the luxurious Kamisato Estate which plays an important role in the Inazuma Archon Quest.
At the bottom of the list are the two Travelers, Aether and Lumine, andtheir loyal companion Paimon. Even though they serve as the main characters in the game, the Travelers are not from the Teyvat and the only place they have access to is the Serenitea Pot, which is a special kind of realm where players can create their own world. According to the chart, the recently released Wanderer is considered homeless, but this perception could change in the upcoming weeks as players find out more about the new Anemo user.
Wanderer was created to be the Electro Archon, but Ei sealed his powers and let him wander free through the world alone. Another upcoming named Dehya, who made multiple appearances in the Sumeru arc, is placed in the same category. She is known as a mercenary of Eremites who probably resides wherever she can find a job.
The Dendro user Alhaithamis also a character who is expected to become part of the playable roster fairly soon. The official Sumeru storyline has revealed that he shares an apartment with the popular architect Kaveh who created various buildings in Sumeru including the Palace of Alcazarzaray.
Genshin Impactis now available on Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5. A Switch version is in development.
