Genshin Impact3.1 comes around with a surprising set of two new Archon Quests, and players will even get to see awaited characters like Il Dottore and Scaramouche. After failing the plan to acquire secret information among the sages,Nahidagets trapped and is no longer able to assist the protagonist in their journey. However, before losing her connection to the main character’s consciousness, she left a message that talks about the moon, the stars, and the sun.
Nahida refers to herself as the moon whenplayers answer Nahida’s questions inGenshin Impact, while the stars are a reference to the Desert people. After understanding the secret message, the protagonist and Paimon decide to visit the Desert Folk, where, eventually, they’ll get stuck in Mysterious Ruins and have to proceed deeper within the ruins inGenshin Impact.

How To Proceed Deeper Within The Ruins In Genshin Impact
The first puzzle in the Mysterious Ruins will block people from proceeding deeper within the ruins in Chapter III: Act IV of the Archon Quest (Secret of the Scorching Desert sub-quest). Luckily, this riddle is thetypicalGenshin Impactpuzzle, so it can be solved easily. Players can find a clue calledCeremonial Guidenear the center mechanism, but it can be ignored.
To finish this puzzle, simply turn the mechanism in this order:
Mysterious Message Puzzle
Eventually, players will get stuck on a floor where there seems to be no way to proceed. To help with this, HoYoverse left a clue calledMysterious Messagethat states:
The elevator will descend to the ground. Get on top of it before it starts ascending again to reach the dome.
After players arrive at this floor, they will notice thatthe elevator will descend backshortly. Once the elevator descends, players can use theActivate Elevatorbutton to bring it back up, allowing them to go up and down with ease.
Now,wait for the elevator to descend from the current floor. When this occurs, players can see that the elevator has a top section.
Next, activate the mechanism andimmediately jump to the top section of the elevator. This upper section will allow players to reach the higher floor of the ruins (the dome).
There will also beanotherGenshin Impactpuzzleat the dome, but it’s an easy one. Once the object glows, use the button in front of it to stop its movement. Do this for the object on the left and right. Afterward, simply wait for the middle object to turn and light up.
The elevator can now be used to enter the deepest part of the Mysterious Ruins. Eventually, the group will come across a chamber that turns out to be a tomb. Here, players will witness the truth about the Greater Lord Rukkhadevata, Lesser Lord Kusanali, and the Scarlet King.
