Beyond the Character Cards that players select to build their decks around, theGenshin ImpactTCG features Artifact and Weapon cards providing unique bonuses for different characters and playstyles. Action and Event Cards also provide players with powerful effects that can be used to turn the tides of games, allowing players to draw more cards, heal, or empower their units. Now, players are set to receive even more options for upgrading their decks soon.

A recent post shared to the Genshin ImpactLeaks subreddit revealsfive new Action Cards coming to Genius Invokation TCGwith Version 4.2. The update will welcome two new equippable Artifact cards, based onGenshin Impact’sOcean-Hued Clam and Gilded Dreams artifact sets. Genius Invokation TCG’s 4.2 update reportedly adds “Stormterror’s Lair” as a new Location card, alongside a new Arcane Legend with “In Every House a Stove” and an Event Card in “Lyresong.” In-game effects were not shared for any of the upcoming TCG cards.
While no characters have officially been revealed for Genius Invokation TCG’s update in Version 4.2,Genshin Impactwelcomed plenty of new cards to the game with the launch of Version 4.1. The update, released earlier this week, adds three new Character Cards to the game with Yaoyao, Wanderer, andDehya joining the lineup. Version 4.1 brought six new Action Cards to Genius Invokation TCG, including the Moonpiercer Weapon and Crown of Watatsumi Artifact among others. The update also included a rework of Genius Invokation TCG’s Weekly Challenge system, expanding rewards to include Arena of Champions and Co-Op challenges.
The newest update to Genius Invokation TCG comes ahead of another highly-anticipated release planned for Version 4.2. HoYoverse revealed the two featured characters appearing during the November update earlier this week, confirmingthe launch of Hydro Archon Furinawith Version 4.2. The update is also expected to see another expansion of Fontaine’s map, following Version 4.1’s additions with an eastward expansion and a new port town. From new characters and locations to TCG updates, Version 4.2 looks to add something for every fan ofGenshin Impact.
