According to the leak, theCloud Retainer will be a Plunge Attack supporterwith a playstyle that revolves around this type of attack.
Considering that Plunge Attacks can only be used when characters are in mid-air led many players to believe that her kit will have a skill that includes elevating the character, like Albedo’s Solar Isatoma or Xiao’s Bane of All Evil.PreviousGenshin Impactleakshave revealed that this character will be able to fly at a speed that is slower than Wander’s Windfavored State. Her Elemental Burst will apparently allow Cloud Retainer to taunt nearby enemies.
Many fans hope that she will have the ability to swap between her human and crane forms, which could impact her playstyle similar tothe recently released Furina. The Hydro Archon can swap between the Pneuma and Ousia states, which determines her role on the field.
There is a chance that Cloud Retainer’s addition could be related to the long-awaited Liyue expansion. There is currently a large part of unexplored terrain between Liyue and Fontaine and rumors claim that this part of Teyvat belongs to the Geo region.
