Developer HoYoverse has already confirmed that Version 4.7 will arrive on June 5, and it will be packed with new content, including three new roster additions. Every update inGenshin Impacthas its beta phase, which usually reveals most of the upcoming content, including new characters, weapons, and events.
A newpost on theGenshin ImpactLeaks subreddithas revealed a set of interesting images that will be included in one of the upcoming events. Among other characters, the images show Aether and Lumine wearing costumes for cooking and medicine. Many fans seemed surprised by the leaks, considering that theSpecial Program event forGenshin ImpactVersion 4.7did not mention any events in which these costumes could be featured. The leak also includes many other playable characters, such as Furina, Clorinde, Lyney, and Navia. The fact that all these playable units come from Fontaine could mean that the event will be tied to the Hydro nation.
HoYoverse already confirmed that the first banner phase forGenshin ImpactVersion 4.7will introduce Clorinde as a new playable five-star character. Since her first appearance in one of Fontaine’s earliest story teasers, many fans were hyped about Clorinde, especially since she was featured holding a gun, which is not too common for characters inGenshin Impact. She will be a new Electro DPS who has a very flexible playstyle, allowing her to fit multiple different team compositions.
Genshin Impact Confirms Furina’s First Banner Re-run
The fact that the leak did not feature Sigewinne could mean that the event will be placed in the first banner cycle since the new Hydro user is scheduled to arrive in the second part of the update. All the Fontaine characters in the images wear medieval costumes, including thefamous Hydro Archon Furina. HoYoverse confirmed that Lady Furina will finally get her first re-run in the second banner phase of Version 4.7.
She has been the main character of the whole Fontaine storyline and many consider her a must-have party member for team compositions that rely on Hydro damage. Some fans hope that the leaked images could be new skins for the featured characters, but it’s not highly likely, since HoYoverse typically introduces only two or three outfits at a time, usually aroundGenshin Impact’s annual events.
