AGenshin Impactfan has shared an interesting weapon series concept inspired by Ruin Machines, a specific type of enemy in the world of Teyvat. Weapons are a core part of the build for every character in the game, and they can have different rarity levels with five-star weapons being usually the most powerful items.

At the moment, there are five types of weapons inGenshin Impact: swords, claymores, polearms, catalysts, and bows. The first three types are used for close combat, while bows and catalysts are usually carried by ranged characters with some small exceptions like the Anemo user Shikanoin Heizou.

EveryGenshin Impactweapon has its unique story which often inspires players to create their own concepts. A new post on the game’s official subreddit shows an impressive fan-made weapon series inspired byRuin Machines from the Automaton enemy family. They are mechanical war machines created by the legendary civilization of Khaenri’ah hundreds, if not thousands, of years ago. Fans seem to like the concept shared by Reddit user oversaItedcat as the whole thread reached over 6.5k upvotes with many comments claiming that the weapon designs could easily become part of the game in the future.

Some fans are hoping that the game’s official storyline could allow them to travel back in time to when the Kingdom of Khaenri’ah was at the peak of its power. While the whole concept deserves tons of praise, the Ruin-inspired bow seems to be the fan-favorite as many players state that its design is perfectly balanced. The creator of the concept also confirmed that they’ve spent most of the time on figuring out how to design the bow. The recent Special Program event already confirmed two new weapons that should arrive in the upcomingGenshin Impactupdate 3.3.

The new five-star catalyst is called Tullaytullah’s Remembrance, and it will serve as the signature weapon for theupcoming Anemo user Wanderer. Players who want to get the five-star new character should definitely attempt to get their hands on this weapon as well since it will have a significant impact on his DPS potential.

The new update will also introduce anew four-star weapon named Toukabou Shigurethat can be acquired for free by completing upcoming the Akitsu Kimodameshi event. While the weapon does not have crazy stats, it’s still a decent choice for characters that can benefit from the Elemental Mastery its secondary stat provides.

Genshin Impactis now available on Mobile, PC, PS4, and PS5. A Switch version is in development.
