AGenshin Impactleaker by the name GI_DivineGaze has revealed an interesting video showing a player exploring a giant Ruin Guard. The sleeping creature is so huge that it can be recognized on therecently leaked Sumeru map. Ruin Guards are ancient humanoid war machines that are said to be remnants of a lost civilization.

The video is over two and a half minutes long and the player still couldn’t explore the whole Ruin Guard which speaks to the size of this location. Multiple replies in the comment section claim that this huge machine was most likely part of the Old World which is an era in which dragons known as the Seven Sovereigns were the overlords of the world. Even thoughGenshin Impactconfirmed the arrival of multiple new characters, players seem to be more excited about Sumeru’s story.

Numerous comments claim that they are amazed how HoYoverse always manages to exceed expectations with every new update that arrives.RecentGenshin Impactrumorshave revealed that Sumeru will most likely be bigger than Liyue which will make it the largest major region in the game. However, it should be noted that players will most likely have to wait a couple of additional updates for the whole major region to be unlocked.

The game’s official story has revealed that the new region is filled with mysterious rainforests and deserts but so farSumeru’s official teaser videoshave only revealed the rainforest part of the map which means that deserts will most likely arrive a couple of updates later. Recent map leaks have already been hinting that the southwest part of Sumeru will include a huge desert. This led most players to believe that one of the main goals of the whole Sumeru story will be to bring the deserts back to life.
