The Witcher 3: Wild Huntis consideredone of the best role-playing games of the past decade. The CD Projekt Red-developed open-world game is beloved by many for its storytelling, exploration, world-building, character development, and more. Although the series first launched in 2007,The Witcher 3is the game that pushed the franchise to heights that few RPGs have seen. And since its release in 2015, artists have been using the series as a canvas for creativity, which is what recently happened with a recent Ciri piece that merges with another popular gaming franchise.
In the same year that the firstWitchertitle was released, theAssassin’s Creedfranchise launched. Although the games have had different paths, both are now quite successful. One fan has taken to combining the two in a very unique way by creating a “Witcher’s Creed” piece of artwork withCiri fromThe Witcheras the centerpiece.

The artwork by Aleksandra Skiba was uploaded recently on Twitter. It shows Ciri donning a new outfit, one that would make her a perfect fit in theAssassin’s Creedgames. Although a Hidden Blade isn’t prevalent and she is using aSilver Sword that is fromThe Witcher, she has the hooded cloak that has become an iconic look forAssassin’s Creed.
There is little doubt that video game fans love a good crossover, as this is why it has become such a successful addition to games likeSuper Smash Bros. Ultimate, Injustice, Fortnite,etc. And fans love to create artwork with the idea as well, as recently anartist mergedThe WitcherwithThe Lord of The Rings. The comment section of the Aleksandra Skiba artwork is filled with praise, as the piece feels like a perfect blend of the two series.
Ciri is a central character ofThe Witcher 3, and someone who could possibly be the main playable character in a future game in the series, which is something many are hoping for. She is a complex character, but one that is strong, brave, and determined. She would make an excellent assassin in theAssassin’s Creedfranchise as well, but a crossover likely isn’t happening any time soon. Crazier things have happened, though, as Nintendo has worked with Sega and Microsoft, and evenThe Witcherprotagonist Geralt is in SoulCalibur 6. Still, it is fun to imagine Ciri skydiving off of an incredibly high building into a pile of hay.
