A dedicatedGrand Theft Auto: San Andreasplayer has finally completed one of the game’s most difficult side challenges, the City Slicking mission, after almost 20 years. Released way back in 2004 during the sixth console generation,Grand Theft Auto: San Andreasbrought the legendary series’ open-world crime gameplay to a fictionalized take on California and Nevada to tellthe story of Carl “CJ” Johnson- a former member of the Grove Street Families gang who is drawn back into his old life following his mother’s murder.San Andreaswas met with near-universal acclaim upon release and is still considered by many to be one of the best entries in theGrand Theft Autofranchise.
Like with any mainlineGrand Theft Autogame, there is plenty to do withinSan Andreas’s three fully explorable cities. One of these side activities is Driving School, a series of driving tests that CJ can complete to unlock new vehicles. The final mission is called “City Slicking,” and it requires the player to travel from one side of San Fierro to the other and back without damaging their car. This is ultimately easier said than done due to a time limit of one minute and 40 seconds - meaning that CJ has to speed his way across the large city without banging into any NPC-controlled vehicles along his path.
