Those items are split into three categories (Reagents, Greeneries, and Indulgences), and players will use them to perform incantations, unlock Arcana Cards, earn Keepsakes, and more. Hades 2: All Reagents
Reagents are used with incantations, the Arcana Card system, and more. They are primarily obtained by clearing Encounters, visiting the Wretched Broker, defeating Guardians, and using the Crescent Pick on Ore Deposits.

Mostly used with incantations involving foundation and steadiness.
Mostly used with incantations involving tension and negativity.

Bronze
Mostly used to awaken Nocturnal Arms and Tools of the Unseen.

Greeneries are primarily used with incantations. Many of them can be collected by hand from the game’s various areas, though some must be grown from the seeds that are extracted from Digging Spots with the Silver Spade.

Mystery Seed
May grow to become one of several different kinds of valuable plants.

Indulgences have a variety of uses and methods of acquisition. While players will not engage with these items as often as they engage with Reagents and Greeneries, they are important nonetheless.
