Players will encounter many symbols as they work through the various areas inHades 2. While the meanings behind those symbols are obvious at times, fans may occasionally be confused about exactly what they indicate. This guide is here to alleviate that confusion, and details on the door symbols inHades 2can be found below.

Hades 2 Door Symbol Guides
Temporary Upgrades
The rooms that are beyond doors that are marked with these symbols give players access to something (Hades 2Boons, items, etc.) that will assist them with their current run. All of these bonuses are lost upon death.
Receive aSelene Gift of the Moon

Receive a Pom of Power.
Poms of Power allow players to increase the levels of their Boons.
Gain +30 Max Magick.
Gain +100 Gold Crowns.
Gold Crowns are used to make purchases from Charon’s shop and Wells of Charon.
Visit Charon’s shop.
Progression Materials
The items that are obtained from the rooms that are beyond doors marked with these symbols are not lost upon death, and then can be used to make permanent upgrades at the Crossroads.
Ashes are mostly used for unlockingArcana Cards inHades 2.
Gain +50 Bones
Bones are mostly used to trade for more valuableresources inHades 2.
Nectar is mostly used for unlockingKeepsakes inHades 2.
Gain +1 Cinder
Cinder is mostly used with incantations and is awarded upon defeating the Guardian of Erebus.
Receive +1 Pearl
Pearl is mostly used with incantations and is awarded upon defeating the Guardian of Oceanus.
Receive +1 Tears
Tears are mostly used with incantations and are awarded upon defeating the Guardian of Mourning Fields.
Receive +1 Wool
Wool is mostly used with incantations and is awarded upon defeating the Guardian of theCity of Ephyra.
Receive +1 Golden Apple
Golden Apple is mostly used with incantations and is awarded upon defeating the Guardian of the Rift of Thessaly.
Receive +1 Star Dust
Star Dust is mostly used to create powerful resources that unlock true strength.
Difficult Encounters & Misc.
Players will occasionally see small symbols at the bottom of a door, and they indicate that a difficult encounter awaits them.
