A creative and dedicatedHalo Infiniteplayer has managed to recreate the iconic Blood Gulch map just hours after the launch of the game’s Forge Mode. The fan-favorite map appears to be recreated as accurately as possible, with the creator sharing the link for the classic map for others to enjoy.

The new version of the oldHalomap is one of the first to make headlines since the official launch ofHalo Infinite’s long-awaited Forge Mode, which allows players to design and edit their own custom maps. The level editor famously leaked earlier this year, which led to some extremely early player-created maps and modes, such as an Infection game mode and evenaHalo Infiniteversion ofPT.

Halo Infinite’s Forge Mode officially launched November 8, allowing the user-generated content floodgates to immediately open, including the remake of Blood Gulch. Based on the screenshots provided, courtesy of creator and Twitter user @epsilon_church_, the map looks to be a near-exact replica of the iconic map featured throughout multipleHaloentries. The Red and Blue bases appear perfectly reconstructed, as does the terrain in between them. With the only real major difference being the rock face color change from brown to gray, this fan-made map is sure to see copious amounts of playtime.

The launch of Forge Mode comes as part ofHalo Infinite’s massive winter update, which adds a variety of new content to the game. Aside from Forge, the new update’s biggest addition is arguably campaign network co-op, something theHalo Infinitecommunity has been requesting since the title’s launch. Players can also replay missions via the TACMAP, allowing them to get all the solo and group achievements also added. Other additions include a pair of new maps, a new multiplayer mode called Covert One Flag, and an all-new battle pass.

While fans may be using Forge onHalo Infiniteto recreate popular legacy maps, 343 Industries itself is doing the same thing. First revealed back in September, 343 revealed thata Forge-made version of The Pitwould be coming toHalo Infinite. The level is touted to be a replica of the iconic competitive map in terms of layout, but with an updated exterior. Rather than the UNSC training facility setting, the developers have opted for a purple-tinged futuristic look, giving the map a fresh coat of paint.

Halo Infinite’s Forge Mode seems to be providing a significant boost of interest in the game, with more substantial content apparently in the pipeline. A new datamine revealsHalo Infinite’s long-rumored battle royale modemay be coming sooner than later, another component of the game fans have been patiently waiting for.

Halo Infiniteis available on PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
