While some animals can be purchased from animal stores in towns that can befast-traveled to inWinds of Anthos, most animals can only be found out in the wild. In order to get the animal to trust the player’s avatar enough to become tame, they will need to fill up their musical notes. If players come back to see them every day and pet and feed them, the animals will be tamed within about a week of in-game time.
ensure to approach all wild animals with caution; if the avatar is running too fast, it will spook the animal. This will present as a red exclamation mark over its head. To keep it from running away, the player has to sneak over to it. Once they are close enough, players can pet the animal.
