An interesting chart on a popular website namedHonkaiLabshows the overall banner revenue that Kafka’s banner accumulated. According to the chart, Kafka’s banner named Nessun Norma managed to attract over 16 million USD in sales. It should also be noted that the data on the chart only represents iOS devices in the game’s Chinese community which means that the overall sales are even higher. This five-star character uses the Nihility Pathwhich means that her kit revolves around debuffing enemies. However, compared to other Nihility characters, Kafka also has great damage potential especially thanks to her Ultimate, Twilight Trill which makes her deal Lightning damage to all enemies which also applies the Shocked effect. While under this effect enemies will also receive a Lightning DoT that scales with her ATK at the start of each turn.

Kafka can manually trigger different types of DoT effects such as Bleeding, Shock, and Wind Shear. While she’s not as good at applying DoT effects herself, she thrives whenpaired with characters like Sampo or Luka. When building Kafka, players should focus on the Speed stat which will allow them to trigger DoTs more often.

The fact that she relies on other characters to make her viable makes her one of the most flexibleplayable units inHonkai: Star Rail.Players who want to add Kafka to their roster will, unfortunately, have to wait for a couple of months until HoYoyverse decides to give her a re-run.

RecentStar Railleakshave revealed that update 1.4 will feature the first re-run for one of the most popular characters in the game named Seele. As shown in the chart, Seele still holds the record for the highest number of sales which does not come as a surprise since she was the first limited five-star character featured on a banner.

Honkai: Star Railis available now for PC and mobile devices. PS4 and PS5 versions are in development.
