Not only was this Hilton Garden Inn kind enough to ship back this person’s forgotten Switch console to their home, but the employees also left a sweet note with lots of effort and thought put into it.

Everyone’s forgotten something in a hotel at some point or another. And many people have dealt with apathetic hotel staff unwilling to help in these unfortunate situations. But at least the latter isn’t true for this Canadian who accidentally left his Nintendo Switch behind in his hotel room withAnimal Crossing: New Horizonsstill running.

A traveler by the name of Skylar Challand was staying at a hotel in Maine in the middle of his sixteen-hour drive and made the mistake of leaving it behind. Lucky for him, however, the hotel staff was nice enough to ship hisNintendo Switchback to him in Canada (for the low low price of $62.71). Not only was the staff kind enough to send it back to him, but one employee drew him a very nice note.

Next to an adorable picture of Isabelle at the front desk in Town Hall, the note explains that the staff saw the game still running and saved it for him, most likely in the event that the Switch lost power during its shipment. The staff member also says they downloaded the new update for him with a cute drawing of the DAL logo and the loading screen tiny island with a tree.

On Reddit, Skylar explains that he spoke to the assistant manager at the Hilton Inn in Bangor, Maine to give the employee, Ashli, praise and thanks. He’s hoping she gets employee of the month and a nice raise for her efforts.

At least Skylar didn’t lose hisAnimal Crossingsave during its transportation because currently, players are unable to reload save files from lost, stolen, or broken Switch consoles to a new system. And in the unlucky circumstances that a player’s save data becomes corrupt, there’s no way to reload the uncorrupted data. But soon,Animal Crossing: New Horizonsplayers will be able to backup their saves and islands.

Soon, on July 30th, theWave 2 summer update will be available forAnimal Crossingand will add fun festival activities for players, like fireworks and the introduction of sparklers. It looks like players will also be able to have dreams and meet a brand new character named Luna, who will bring players to different islands. And later this fall, a free Halloween update will greetAnimal Crossingplayers during the spooky season.
