That will change withHogwarts Legacy, a highly-anticipated game set in the late 1800s that sees players attending Hogwarts as their own custom witch or wizard. There’s been no official word on exactly when fans will get to playHogwarts Legacy, but a newly revealed art book may have let the cat out of the bag.
Insight Editions is publishing a book calledThe Art and Making of Hogwarts Legacyby Jody Revenson, which is an art book based on the upcoming game. While theupcomingHogwarts Legacygameis currently without a release date, the art book is set to be released on Tuesday, September 6. Now, it’s entirely possible that the art book will be released earlier or even later thanHogwarts Legacy, but from a marketing standpoint, it seems like it would make the most sense to release both products on the same day. Not only that, but video games tend to release on Tuesdays or Fridays, so it makes sense from that standpoint as well.

This is far from a confirmation thatHogwarts Legacyis releasing on September 6, but it does match up with recent leaks about the game. According to reputable leakers,Hogwarts Legacy’s release date is in September 2022, which would line up with the book’s planned September 6 release date. This could just be coincidence, though, and so fans should keep that in mind before they start marking their calendars.
