Diablo 4has a substantial endgame that gives players a lot of tasks to complete and Nightmare Dungeons to try and clear. Usually, players won’t be high enough in level or have the right build to jump straight into these dungeons after completing or skipping the story and instead will need to look towards Helltides to get stronger.

Helltides InDiablo 4change the environment of a section of the map, spawning stronger enemies and offering powerful loot for players to get. Aberrant Cinders are a common resource players will be found throughout a Helltide and can only be used during the duration of the event. Players can see how many Aberrant Cinders they have in the top right corner of the screen when in a Helltide.

How To Farm Aberrant Cinders In Diablo 4

Aberrant Cinders are acommon drop from just about all enemies in a Helltide. That being said, larger and stronger enemies will have a much higher drop rate, and not every enemy is guaranteed to drop a Cinder. Aberrant Cinders are dropped on anyWorld Tier inDiablo 4, with players able to start farming them anytime they set foot in a Helltide. That being said, players will see an increased drop rate of Aberrant Cinders on higher World Tiers. Aberrant Cinders are also a possible drop when looting things such as Damned Souls, but they have a fairly low drop rate. Players can also use a Profane Mindcage to increase the drop rate of Aberrant Cinders for one hour.

While just about all activities within a Helltide will give Aberrant Cinders, players canget them quickly by completing the Accursed Ritual and spawning the boss. This triggers a fairly hard boss to spawn along with a huge wave of enemies to defeat that will keep spawning until the boss is defeated. Not only will the boss drop a large sum of Cinders, but the unending wave of enemies will also have their usual drop rates and have the enemies come to the player to maximize farming time. Attacking and destroying Spires will also have large sums of enemies appear, along with a decent sum of Cinders for destroying the Spire.

What Are Aberrant Cinders Used For In Diablo 4

Players should use Aberrant Cinders as quickly as they get them as they can be lost very easily. The only use for Aberrant Cinders is the unlock Tortured Chests within the Helltide. There are multiple types of chests, and they range in cost to openanywhere from 75 Aberrant Cinders to 275 Aberrant Cinders. Tortured Chests can be found and tracked on the map, making it easy for players to constantly find and loot them to make the most out of the Cinders they have. The rewards for Tortured Chests are determined by your World Tier, with Tier 3 and 4 chests giving playersmultiple legendary items.
