This means Flame Art and Fire Ashes of War work better for this Dagger.FromSoftwarehas added a lot of new Ashes of War in the DLC, and some of those can be great with this Dagger, like theAsh of War: Flame Spear.
Elden Ringplayerscan also try a Bleed build on this weapon, which includes aLord of Blood’s ExultationTalisman andWhite Maskfor increased attack power when Blood Loss occurs. As the weapon is acquired as a drop, players are not restricted to having only one of these in a playthrough. You can farm two daggers and have one in both hands, afflicting the Bleed status effect much faster.

Where To Find Fire Knight’s Shortsword Location
Toget theFire Knight’s ShortswordinShadow of the Erdtree, you must reach theShadow Keepin Scadu Altus. This weapon has no fixed location and it can only be obtained as a drop from the Fire Knights. There are a lot of Fire Knights throughout the Realm of Shadow; however, you will need to defeat the ones who carry the Shortsword in both of their hands. The easiest location to farm these enemies is northeast of theStorehouse, Seventh FloorSite of Grace. This is the Grace you access right before activating the lever that lowers the statues andleads to the boss room ofMessmer the Impaler.
The drop rate of the weapon is relatively low because the Fire Knight can also drop other items like part oftheir Armor Set. To increase the drop rate of an item, you can equip theSilver Tear Mask, which increases Arcane, thus increasing discovery, as well as theSilver Scarab Talisman. TheSilver-Pickled Fowl Footis an item you can use and craft to help you acquire the Shortsword quicker. Keep teleporting back and forth from the Site of Grace repeatedly until it drops.
