Assassins of the Hidden Ones have always been known for their flashy parkour and assassination moves. Air Assassinations have always been a part ofACtitles, andUbisoft’s latest installmentin the franchise is no different. However, players will notice that the feature isn’t available in the game from the get-go. What it allows players to do instead (from the beginning) is take down enemies by sneaking up on them. Those who want access to more assassination methods need to make a little progress in the Story Mode to unlock a certain tool, which will allow them to perform Air Assassinations.

How To Perform An Air Assassination In Assassin’s Creed Mirage
to unlock the ability to execute Air Assassinations, players will first need tocomplete the second and third Main QuestsofAssassin’s Creed Mirage,A New BeginningandTaking Flight.
A New Beginning
During the second quest, Roshan escortsBasim to the Hidden Ones’hideout, where he learns the ways of the Brotherhood and trains under their supervision.
As the quest starts, Roshan asks Basim to perform a Leap of Faith, at which the latter fails to impress his master. The former then asks the protagonist to go meet Fuladh, where he learns that Rebekah is in need of leather strips. Thus, Basim is asked to retrieve the item from the store room.

As the story progresses, players see Rebekah hand Basim his own sword and dagger during a cutscene, which is followed by a combat tutorial by Roshan.
The nextpart of the questtakes the protagonist on a mini-quest with Nur. They come back from this journey and meet Rayhan to report to him about the dealings of Mercenaries from Baghdad. On hearing of the incident, Rayhansends Nur to Baghdadto investigate the matter. This entire sequence is followed by a cutscene showing how Basim grows as a member of the Hidden Ones before finally transitioning into one of them.

Taking Flight
Right as this quest begins, Basim is given a tool by Al-Hasan, which he takes to the cave entrance. Here, he meets up with Fuladh and the others, preparing himself for the initiation. During the cutscene that follows next, players see Basim put on his Hidden Blade (the tool given to him by Al-Hasan) and transition into an Assassin, taking an oath never to compromise the Brotherhood.
After a brief fight with Roshan, the story takes Basim back to Baghdad. This is where the prologue ends and players are allowed to free roam to their fullest and make use of an extremely useful assassination technique.
