WithWarzone 2&Modern Warfare 2’s Season 5came a new event that altered the norms for public challenges: The Factions Event. During this event, players got to join one of the CoD-themed factions (Shadow Company & Task Force 141) to compete against each other and win prizes.
However, since the new event looks nothing like previous challenges, many players wonder how to get the rewards, especially the two animated camos,Blood Cell and Polished. This guide will explain how to unlock the new animated equipment skins in both games—and answer some FAQs about them.

How to Get the Blood Cell Camo
To get the Blood Cell animatedweapon camouflage,Warzone 2andMW2players shouldjoin the Shadow Company Faction and complete all challengesbefore June 04, 2025. But note that the camo will be rewarded only to players of the winning faction who’ve completed all objectives.

At the end of the August event, players who’ve completed the above missions will have the chance to win the Blood Cell camoif their faction wins the overall competition.
How to Get the Polished Camo
InWarzone 2orModern Warfare 2, players who join the Task Force 141 Faction, complete all objectives, and win the overall competition by the end of the August public event, will unlock the animated Polished camo.

Players can change their faction throughout the event with no limits. For that, they must go to the Events tab and click on the desired faction.
How to Unlock the Blood Cell & Polished Camos After the Event
While both camos, the Blood Cell and Polished, are available in the game, they’re unlikely to be obtainable after the August Faction Event. Interestingly, only one of the camos will remain in the game, as the losing Faction won’t get any rewards.
Activision might bring back the lost camouflage in future public events. But it’s unclear whether or not players will be able to purchase the Blood Cell and Polished camos separately.
