AMarvel’s Spider-Manfan has re-imagined Peter Parker’s look based on some concept art depicting him with long hair. The game is lauded as one of the best superhero games on modern consoles, so many gamers continue to play the game. And while the sequel isn’t out yet, gamers still hold the original in high regard. That’s why fans still take time to continually find new things to discover, fresh things to do, and look for variouseaster eggs inMarvel’s Spider-Man.
WhileMarvel’s Spider-Man’sPeter Parker’s face model has changed before, the character still retains a similar feel to the previous one with only a small adjustment in facial features. As it stands, Peter still retains the clean-cut image that most fans of the web-slinger have come to know and love. The closest Peter Parker image shift would have to be Tobey Maguire’sSpider-Man 3emo-inspired appearance where he grew his hair and added some bangs. Even then, Maguire’s look still felt very nerdy in nature, but it did provide an altered feel to the character.

A Redditor named Bjkrillsz decided to take a swipe at showing whatMarvel’s Spider-Man’sPeter Parker would look like with long hair. While Insomniac initially considered turning Peter into a scruffier, more mature, and long-haired, Bjskrillz retains Sony’s current Peter Parker look but with extended hair. One could say that this look kind of resembles how Andrew Garfield appeared inNo Way Home, although still, with longer locks.
Previously, another Redditor tried to show how in-gameMarvel’s Spider-Man’sPeter would look with long hair and a beard. However, it doesn’t quite capture the youthfulness that Spider-Man exudes. Even in other forms of media, Peter Parker has more or less stayed with his nerdy look, whether he’s young or old. Seeing Bjskrillz’s take on long-haired Peter is amazing as it keeps him looking young, but with a tinge of adulthood creeping up. It’s as if this version of the wall-crawler is in his latter teen to early young adult years.

Reading the comments from the post, a lot of fans agree that this would have been a better take on the new face model. A lot of fans seemed to enjoy the small hair change, with some even comparing Peter toStar Warscharacter Anakin Skywalker. One commenter wondered how long-haired Peter would look with the mask on as the thicker hair would definitely complicate things. With some ofMarvel’s Spider-Manfans wanting the option to change the face modelfrom the new one to the old one, perhaps Insomniac can also consider allowing players to change hair length. If not, maybe they can explore updating Peter’s hair forMarvel’s Spider-Man 2.
Marvel’s Spider-Manis available now on PC, PS4, and PS5.
