Following his domestic violence arrest, Jonathan Majors has lost his talent agency and publicist. However, as of now, his role as Kang in the Marvel Cinematic Universehas not been dropped, meaning that until further notice, theAnt-Man and the Wasp: Quantumaniastar will remain with the franchise.

After news of the scandal involving Majors broke, it’s been confirmed that Entertainment 360 - Majors' talent agency - and Ledde Agency - his PR firm - have cut ties with theAnt-Man 3star. However, they added that Marvel Studios hasn’t discussed possiblydropping Majors as Kang.

Deadlinegave the full details on what happened with Majors' now previous affiliations. “Talent manager Entertainment 360 has dropped Jonathan Majors, several sources tell us. The recent move by Majors’ longtime manager comes three weeks after theMagazine Dreamsstar was arrested on domestic violence charges in New York City. Currently starring inCreed IIIandAnt-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, Majors’ departure was due to issues surrounding the actor’s personal behavior, we are informed. Majors’ representation problems don’t stop with Entertainment 360. PR firm The Lede Company also initiated a break with theAvengersactor in the last month.” They also added the full details of where Marvel Studios stands with Majors. “Deadline hears there’s been zero conversations in the Marvel camp to drop Majors from the MCU.”

TheAnt-Man 3starwas arrested on March 25 for alleged assault, strangulation, and harassment charges of his girlfriend. His spokesperson denied the allegations against Majors, and Majors' lawyer Priya Chaudry released text messages between the two sides a short time afterward. However, the text messages may or may not have made it look worse on Majors' end.

Marvel Studios may be is simply biding their time until all the facts come out about this case. If Majors is convicted, that would probably lead to his termination from the franchise. If not, Majors may potentially stick around. Marvel has dropped previous actors from the franchise in the past - not for legal issues - but it has been a while since they’ve done something like that - replacing Terrence Howard as Rhodey withDon Cheadle inIron Man 2- but they have not done this often. If the allegations against Majors prove true, Marvel Studios will have to find a new actor to replace him or drop the character entirely.

However, the fact that his talent agency and PR firm have dropped him following everything that has come out does not look too promising for Majors. No conclusions should be drawn until the entire scope of the situation is laid out, but often (not always), they do that when they’ve concluded that the problem is bad enough that affiliating themselves with him is a bad look. However, no one will know for sure until all the objective information comes out.
