Last month, anime crossover fighting gameJump Forcereceived anadditional two DLC characters, but fans still have two more to go in the game’s second character pass. Originally, all fans knew about these two characters is that one would be fromBleachand the other fromJoJo’s Bizarre Adventure, but a datamining effort has made their identities public knowledge.
The characters in question - Yoruichi Shihoin and Giorno Giovanna - had their files added to the PC version ofJump Forcerecently. Despite not technically being available, dataminers were able to access their files and get them working. Both appear to be otherwise complete, though elements of Giorno are clearly unfinished.

Surprisingly, Bandai Namco opted to fully acknowledge the two characters' inclusion and confirm them on Twitter, while also admitting that Giorno, in particular, is still in development and may function differently once he actually releases. Currently, there’s no indication of when both characters will become available to download.
For those who may not be familiar with these characters, Yoruichi is one of the most popular female characters fromBleach, acting as a mentor/guide for protagonist Ichigo, and is also considered one of the most powerful Soul Reapers (or Shinigami as they’re called in Japanese). She fights barehanded, but possesses the ability to transform into a human/cat/thunder goddess hybrid, which provides a massive boost to her strength and speed, though it causes her to act more like a cat.
As for Giorno, he’s the protagonist ofJoJo’s Bizarre Adventure’sfifth story arc,Golden Wind, (which is also the most recent to receive an anime adaptation) and the son of series villain DIO. Living in Italy, he joins up with the local mafia organization so he can become a Gang-Star, though with the intention of taking over and reforming it to help the public.
As is the standard forJoJocharacters, he possesses a Stand called Gold Experience, which has the ability to give life to inanimate objects, transforming them into animals or plants. It later evolves into Gold Experience Requiem and gains the power to alter causality, effectively capable of nullifying any action and make it as if it never happened, making itone of the most powerful Standsin the entire series.
Their inclusion brings the total roster to 57, which isn’t bad for something that was considered to be one of2019’s most disappointing gamesand could easily have been abandoned by Bandai Namco after it received rather average reviews. Despite fans' disappointment with it, there appears to be an audience hopeful for a third season pass to add more characters to the roster.
Jump Forceis available on Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
