The Boysseason 3 hasn’t even concluded yet, and yet it appears season 4 could be right around the corner. Karl Urban, who plays supe extinguisher Billy Butcher on the Amazon Primehit, has confirmed that the show’s next season will start filming late next month.
Even though the viewers have yet to see howThe Boysseason 3 will end, Urban provided some insight into the future during a recent interview. The biggest headline is thatThe Boyswill be coming backin due time after season 3 ends, and that’s all the fans want.

In an interview with Collider, Urban said that the show will resume in mid-to-late August, and he’s excited to reunite with the cast and crew for another go-round for the edgy, brutal anti-superhero show. First, Urban revealed the start date on which the show will resume filming again. “Yeah, we’re starting I think August the 22nd, we’re going to be starting season four. So I’m getting back, getting my Butcher back on, and I can’t wait. It’s a fun gang to play with, we work hard and play hard, and I can’t wait to see where they take the characters from where we leave them at the end of this season.” Urban also added that he doesn’t know where the show will go in its fourth season. “I have no idea. So that’ll tell you something, but yeah, not too far away. I mean, I expect that we’ll… I’m actually going to be seeing Kripke next week and I expect conversations will start to happen about what he’s got in store. I like to give them the respect of being able to do their writing process and not be harassed by actors going, ‘What are we doing?’ But I can’t wait. They always come up with insane stuff, so yeah, it’s going to be fun.”

With all the twists and turns the show has gone through over the course of its third season, it sure has made viewers wonder what it’s all building up to. After the season’s penultimate episode revealed what was possibly the biggest twist the show has ever thrown at its viewers, audiences are very amped to know what happens next and how it all ends. It’s exciting to know they’re getting right to the fourth season, but fans probably care more to see how the third season ends first.
When the third season finally concludes, fans should be excited that the show’s fourth season is starting its production as soon as possible.The Boysseason 3is looking to be arguably the best season the show has ever done. It hasn’t dragged its feet and has only amplified its conflict at every turn. Sure, there will be a hiatus between now and when the fourth season arrives, but at least fans can take solace knowing the show won’t be hanging in limbo in the near future.
Sadly though, this kind of feels like a spoiler thatBilly Butcher will survivewhen the third season ends. Considering the show just revealed the amount of danger he’s in, it feels like a let-down that viewers already know he’s going to be around for the next season. It’s possible he dies and comes back in flashbacks, but the show hasn’t delved much into flashbacks as a whole. They’ve certainly done it, but not that often.
