Since the game’s still in its early stages, it’s still lacking some features that HoYoverse fans, especially those who frequently playGenshin Impact, have gotten used to. In a post on the “Leaks by Blednaya” Telegram group, owned by prominent HoYoverse leaker Blednaya, she reported that an in-game chat will be added inStar Railin update 1.1. Screenshots of the reported chat function have also surfaced on social media, which showed a window with text bubbles between two friends.

Upon seeing the leaked in-game chat, manyHonkai: Star Railplayers expressed their excitement for the feature, with some hoping that it will have stickers like inGenshin Impact. While others didn’t seem to like the chat’s UI, suggesting that it should look similar to the text conversations between characters in the game.

Honkai: Star Railupdate 1.1 is expected to drop around June 7, but many leakers have already shared some details about it. Apart from the new chat function, Blednaya previously uploaded avideo of Yukong’s gameplay, like her idle and combat animations. AnotherStar Railleak showed ten characters that are expected to come out in future patches. But like with any leak, gamers should still take them with a grain of salt until HoYoverse confirms theHonkai: Star Railnews. It’s still possible that certain characters and features might come out later than what was first reported.

As of yesterday,Honkai: Star Raillaunched a new banner event revolving around Jing Yuan, a Lightning character from Xianzhou that follows the Path of Erudition. Those who haven’t acquired the banner character yet might have started researching which Relics andLight Cones go well with Jing Yuan, so many players would be able to build a powerful team with him as the main damage dealer.
