Video games as a medium are no strangers to Easter Eggs, with nearly every major release featuring some form of secret event, hidden area, or homage to another work. Over on YouTube, a user named Vame Geveloper posted a video of an in-game LEGO character talking about how great the party is and then ends the dialogue with “I’m really feeling it,” a reference to theXenobladeChroniclesfranchise. Interestingly, this dialogue is actually spoken by Adam Howden, thevoice actor for Shulk in the originalXenoblade Chronicles.

Apparently, a formerTT Gamesdeveloper named David Harris is a massive fan ofXenoblade Chroniclesand once he heard that Adam Howden was providing a voice-over forLEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga,he managed to work in aXenobladereference. The phrase “I’m really feeling it” is a common quotation fromXenoblade Chroniclesthat got popularized when Shulk made his appearance inSuper Smash Bros. for Wii U.

It’s amazing how much popularityXenoblade Chronicleshas managed to cultivate, to the point where the series' presence can be felt in a LEGO game. Back when the originalXenoblade Chronicleswasreleased in 2010 for the Wii, it was not extremely popular. Since that time, the series has spawned three sequels, includingXenoblade Chronicles Xfor the Wii U, three characters included in theSuper Smash Bros. Ultimateroster, and now, is being referenced in other games outside of the series.

In any case, it will be interesting to see what elseLEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Sagamight have in store for its players. Given the rich worldbuilding ofStar Wars, there are bound to be plenty of other references found inThe Skywalker Saga. And with the inclusion of the upcomingDLC packs forLEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, there will likely be even more secret content for players to discover.
