Many folks know thatWordlehas been taking over the internet as the fan-favorite daily word puzzle game, but there have been many copies and clones surfacing on the internet, too. One of those games is calledLewdle, and has gained popularity over the weeks.Lewdleworks very similarly toWordle, in that players have six tries to guess a five-letter word. However, instead of guessing any random word in the English language,Lewdleonly contains offensive or naughty words.

After players input their first five-letter word intoLewdle, the letter tiles will change colors, depending on how close players are to the actual correct answer. So, for example, if a tile turns green, that means that the letter is in the word and it’s in the right spot. If a tile turns yellow, the letter is in the word, but it’s not currently in the proper position. And if it’s grayed out, the letter is not in the word at all. And to make things even more complicated,Lewdleplayerscan only input naughty words; they can’t use common words to narrow down the answer, making the pool of options smaller thanWordle.
