Logitech’s Litra Glow is a LED desktop light solution that could very well be a game-changer for content creators. Packed in a very simple and unassuming design is a light capable of offering a variety of customization options to meet almost any need. Admittedly, the utility of a desktop light is not as broad as a webcam or a microphone, but aswork-from-home becomes the norm, Litra Glow is certain to find a strong audience.
Litra Glow is extremely simple to install, plugging into any USB slot on a desktop or laptop. The light can “anchor” to any surface with relative ease thanks to the adjustable 3-way monitor mount. With a slight lip on the front, the light secures to a monitor and the longer brace in the back can angle help hold it steady and adjust to a variety of screen sizes. It can also twist 360 degrees or telescope to get a higher angle. Oftentimes webcam and webcam-like mounts that sit on the top of monitors have a tendency to feel loose, but Litra Glow offered a snug fit regardless of what monitor was being used.

Once the Logitech Litra Glow has found a home, users can customize the device in a number of ways. Out of the box, you can toggle the light on and off, adjust its brightness, and pick from a few color temperature settings from the back of the light. But getting up to fiddle with the light is hardly ideal, which is where theLogitech G Hubfunctionality comes into play. Working in tandem with G Hub, the Litra Glow becomes a versatile light that can meet a variety of needs.
From the Logitech G Hub software, users can perform the same functions available on the device like turning the Litra Glow on and off, changing the color temperature, or adjusting the brightness – all without having to get up out of their desk chair. Using the buttons on the device toggles between 5 presets per setting, but G Hub offers a lot more. There is a slider in the software that offers a bit more fine-tuning available than using the buttons on the back of the light.

Even with the brightness adjustment, the Litra Glow is a solid light capable of providing the necessary illumination for a livestream, a Zoom call, or just to brighten up a room. At 250 Lumens it is not going to replace all lighting in a room, or match what some of the higher power desktop lights offer, but Logitech’s focus seems to be on illuminating the user’s face with natural tones and through the light’s TrueSoft technology minimizing eye-strain. To achieve those natural tones, G Hub brings color temperature control and customizable profiles to the mix.
Adjustable color temperature allows for users to give the Litra Glow either an orange or a blue-ish tint to mimic indoor or outdoor lighting, respectively. Users can go more stylized if they choose, but the end goal seems to be a set of options that allow for a more natural look. Out of the box, Logitech G Hub includes a number of presets that hit a range of color temperatures, but those who want a specific look can go in and control both the brightness and color temperature until it’s just right.
Once Litra Glow has been dialed in, Logitech G Hub can then save those settings to new profiles for easy access. Users can switch between profiles with just a mouse click and automatically adjust the Litra Glow based on time of day or room setup.
Litra Glow is plenty bright to provide enough illumination forvideo callsor to use during content creation, but the diffusion on the light (part of the TrueSoft tech) keeps it from being blindingly bright and reduces concerns about eye fatigue. It’s also small enough that it doesn’t require a lot of setup beyond sitting it atop a monitor or on a tripod/mount.
On the back of its design and feature-set, Litra Glow should become a highly recommended option for content creators. But even those who just want to add a little extra light to their face while using a webcam should give it a look. And for the more advanced users, Logitech has built complementary settings into its G Hub software that go beyond just simple brightness control. TheLogitech G brandtypically tries to go above and beyond when it comes to feature sets for its users, and Litra Glow is yet another stellar example of how the company simplifies while also improving a cool piece of tech.
