One luckyDiablo 4player stumbles into a cellar only to discover an infestation of Treasure Goblins. While the latest entry in the long-runningDiablofranchise follows similar footsteps to its predecessors where players build out their character with skills and loot, Blizzard’s newest game does change up a number of core elements.Diablo 4has embraced live-service and always online elementsallowing players to not only see other players around the interconnected map, but take part in public events or work to take down challenging world bosses like Ashava.
Even without the open world components,Diablo 4allows players to travel and explore at their own pace, weaving together a massive interconnected map with plenty of things to see and do including side quests that server to further flesh out Sanctuary.Diablo 4players may also come across dungeonsand cellars on their adventures which are locations that serve as instances that have enemies and loot to find. In terms of dungeons, players will find partially procedurally-generated zones with enemies and light puzzles to overcome, leading to a boss fight and a potential game changing Aspect. With how random some of these zones can be, one player managed to beat the odds and found a valuable reward at the end.

A post on theDiablo 4subReddit showed off how much luck one person can have while playing. A user named HolySeph1985 posted a video of them exploring a cellar known as the Fetid Hive, where they were tasked with simply clearing it out completely. Having reached the end of the cellar, the player stumbled into the final room of enemies, three Treasure Goblins. It’s a far cry from a typical cellar which usually leads to a unique enemy to fight, but in this case, HolySeph’s biggest problem was beating all three before they fled.
Ultimately, HolySeph was able to take down all 3 treasure goblins and completed the Fetid Hive, with multiple rare and unique items dropping. Unfortunately, HolySeph’s excitement at finding the goblins led to disappointment as the items dropped didn’t end up being anything great. Comments quickly debated thevalue of Treasure Goblin loot, with one user indicating that their partner ran into a trio of Treasure Goblins in back to back cellars, while they’ve still yet to come across anything like it. Most users seemed to agree that these enemies are less “Treasure” and more like Junk Goblins.
Recently, players noticed abug inDiablo 4that caused the once super rare Uber Uniques to dropa little more consistently. As a result, more than a few players raced to take advantage of the bug that caused these Uber Uniques to appear in Helltide Chests, though following a hot fix, Blizzard confirmed that it would not be removing them from accounts who took advantage of the bug.
