Things are pretty quiet in the world ofMarvel’s Avengersthis week, as the game hasn’t started rolling out holiday-themed events just yet. The devs have shown interest in that sort of thing, but want to focus on getting the core gameplay running smoothly and squashing bugs first. For now, the holiday week is going to be just like any other inMarvel’s Avengerswith a lineup of Priority Missions, HARM Challenges, and a Mega Hive for end game players as they continuethe power level grind.
TheMarvel’s Avengersweekly rotation is still a few days away, so players have some time left to make sure they fly through this week’s tasks and claim all of their rewards before week 18 arrives. There hasn’t been an official announcement aboutwhen the next DLC character is being added, but it seems likely that the big content drop is still weeks away.

This week brings the usual mix of events for players to work through, which means that there will be a series of challenges for both mid-level and endgame players. The Priority Missions offer motivation to revisit story missions and snag some extra rewards andthe HARM challengestake players into the training simulation for a series of difficult challenges to snag a comic book reward (and its associated bonus). Keep in mind that each player can only earn each of the rewards with their first run through per week.
Resurgence: Enemy health regenerates after a short delay.
Famine: Enemies do not drop Regen Packs when defeated.
Outbreak: Toxic hazards are added to the environment. Gamma damage from enemies and the environment are increased.
Minimum Power Level 100 Challenge, +5 Power Level Offset
Modifiers
Maelstrom: All heroics charge at a significantly increased rate. Entering critical health drains all Heroic energy.
Oasis: Regen Packs have increased Willpower benefit.
Scourge: Significantly increased presence of Prime Synthoids.
Weekly Rewards:As you progress through the Mega Hive, rewards start as basic gear, resources, and small amounts of cosmetic currency. The more missions you survive, the more resource drops increase. As you near the final mission, you’ll see better gear and artifacts awarded more often, as well as increased chances for patterns/nameplates. When you complete all eight Mega Hive missions you’ll be rewarded with exclusive goodies reserved for this gauntlet, including a significant amount of high-quality resources
That should be everything players need to know to get through this week’s Missions, HARM challenges, and Mega Hive. Endgame players are likely morefocused on Tachyon Riftsat this point as they wait for the Cloning Labs to arrive, but the HARM challenges are a nice warm-up for any player to work through once per week as long as new or rare comics are up for grabs as a reward.
Marvel’s Avengersis out now on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One, with PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X versions currently in development.
