Marvel’s Spider-Man Remasteredofficially came out on PC on June 20, 2025. It includes aremastered version ofMarvel’s Spider-Manalong withThe City That Never SleepsDLC which was released in three parts post launch. Curiously, this remastered version is only available as a part ofMarvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales Ultimate Editionon PS5.
Similar to the original game from 2018, the PC version ofMarvel’s Spider-Man Remasteredlaunched with positive reviews. The PC port also doesn’t appear to suffer from any major issues.Marvel’s Spider-Man Remasteredhas a rating of Overwhelmingly Positive on Steam, with many users discussing the high-quality port. New data now suggests thatMarvel’s Spider-Man Remasteredis Sony’s second biggest launch on PC in terms of the total number of concurrent players.

According to SteamDB,Marvel’s Spider-Man Remasteredhad a peak concurrent player count of 66,436. This number falls short of thePC version ofGod of War, which peaked at 73,529 users at launch, butMarvel’s Spider-Man Remasteredperformed better than Sony’s other releases on Steam.Horizon Zero Dawnachieved a simultaneous player count of 56,557, withDays Gonesitting at a much lower number of 27,450 peak concurrent users. This means thatMarvel’s Spider-Man Remasteredis Sony’s second-biggest launch on Steam.
At the time of this writing, 32,255 users areplayingMarvel’s Spider-Man Remasteredon Steam, and it’ll be interesting to see if the peak player count changes in the coming days. Usually, single-player games achieve their highest concurrent player count at or close to launch. So, it’s unlikely thatMarvel’s Spider-Man Remasteredwill go beyond 66,436 simultaneous players on Steam after sales and other promotions.
Fans should note thatMarvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Moralesis also scheduled to launch on PCin fall 2022. It builds upon the gameplay blueprint introduced inMarvel’s Spider-Manand gives players access to some new powers and abilities.
PC users have even more Sony games to look forward to in the near future.The Last of Us Part 1is scheduled to release on PC after the PS5 version comes out in September.Uncharted 4: A Thief’s EndandUncharted: The Lost Legacyare also set to launch on PC as a part of a remastered bundle titledUncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection. A rumor suggests that theUnchartedgames will launch on PC on October 19, but Sony has not revealed an official release date for this collection.
