Marvel’s Spider-Manis no stranger to movie suits, as Insomniac Games has added every major film costume to its games. Whether it beSpider-Man: Homecoming’s homemade suit, orthe fan favorite Raimi suit, Insomniac has done a terrific job of paying homage to all of Peter’s on-screen appearances. With even theSpider-Man: Into The Spider-Versecostumes getting some love, it makes sense for the trend to continue going forward.
While it has been some time since the originalMarvel’s Spider-Manwas given a free suit update, the newSpider-Man: No Way Homecostumes seem special enough to warrant a patch. At the same time, they could be held onto for the heavily teased sequel, with gamers able to unlock the newMCUdesigns in the next game. Regardless of whether they come in the currentMarvel’s Spider-Manor its successor, though, both costumes are deserving of a place on the suit roster.

Spider-Man: No Way Home’s Black And Gold Suit
Thanks to someSpider-Man: No Way Homemerchandise, fans have gotten a good look at the black and gold costume. A mix of flashy and reserved, the suit swaps out Peter’s iconic red and blue color scheme for some black. With black used for much of the suit, Spidey’s webbing cannot share the same color, so it instead takes the form of a gold tone. While the Hot Toys figure shows that the gloves and web shooters are red, this is likely a placeholder, as the Funko depicts them with a matching gold hue. A hugely different look for theMCU’s young Peter Parker, the costume’s purpose remains unknown — though one suggestion makes sense.
The black and gold suit could be an armored suit as opposed to the thin costumes the hero usually wears. It boasts the same color pattern as the Spider Armor Mk. 2, and while it may lack the popped collar or thin eyes, this could be an indication of the same protective abilities. Peter’s time in the Iron Spider suit shows experience with some more armored tech, adding to the theory. If this does prove true, it could allow Insomniac to have a new armored suit in the sequel. With all the Spider Armor variants appearing in the first game, this could serve as a fresh addition in that same style. Its Suit Power could also add some kind of defensive boost, making it a fine fit withtheMarvel’s Spider-Manstyle.
Spider-Man: No Way Home’s Integrated Suit
While the black and gold suit is unlikely to anger any fans, as it seems like it will be more of a one-off costume than the movie’s main outfit, the Integrated Suit is proving controversial with Spider-Man fans. While some want to see theIntegrated Suit added toMarvel’s Spider-Man, others hate the costume. The source of the controversy is eerily familiar to that of Insomniac’s Advanced Suit, as fans do not like the large gold spider symbol on Peter’s chest. Divisive or not, though, Spidey’s new costume should make its way intoMarvel’s Spider-Man.
Not only is the costume a unique evolution ofSpider-Man: Far From Home’s Upgraded Suit, but it has the potential to add an awesome Suit Power to the game. With merchandise showing Peter use Doctor Strange-like magic with the costume, seeing this become a proper mechanic would be incredible. With one of the standout Suit Powers in the originalMarvel’s Spider-Manbeing Peter’s Iron Spider legs, going the extra mile with the Integrated Suit would be incredible. Being able to add a few spells to Peter’s arsenal could be a lot of fun, opening new combo possibilities and some extra photo mode potential for fans of the webslinger.
