The Pros of Using Marvel Snap’s Elsa Bloodstone
As a 2-Cost card, Elsa Bloodstone can fit into a variety ofMarvel Snapdecks without players having to worry about her using too much Energy. One of the best deck archetypes for Elsa Bloodstone isMarvel Snap’s bounce deck typesince these decks prioritize returning cards to the player’s hand to be played over and over again. This allows Elsa Bloodstone to repeatedly grant her +3 Power boost to low-cost cards multiple times in a match as the player fills up each location multiple times thanks to the bounce play style, making cards like Kitty Pryde, Bishop, and The Collector great options to pair with Elsa Bloodstone.
Marvel Snap’s zoo deck archetype can also greatly benefit from Elsa Bloodstone since they emphasize filling the field with low-cost cards that can gain a solid boost in Power from Elsa Bloodstone’s ability. Players can utilize cards likeSquirrel Girlor Mysterio to quickly fill multiple locations before playing cards like Ka-Zar or Blue Marvel to boost the Power of these cards even further. Another great strategy is to play Nightcrawler to fill a location while Elsa Bloodstone is on the field to power it up, and then move the card to another more advantageous location while simultaneously opening up a spot for another card to fill and gain a boost from Elsa Bloodstone.

The Cons of Using Marvel Snap’s Elsa Bloodstone
For as good as Elsa Bloodstone seems on paper, there are a few ways she can be easily countered that players looking to use her in their decks should watch out for. The biggest threat the best Elsa Bloodstone decks face is a poorly-timed Killmonger to ruin their setup and wipe out any chance of filling a location with low-cost cards to power up. While Killmonger can’t take out Elsa Bloodstone herself, he can destroy the1-CostMarvel Snapcards most players will likely attempt to surround her with, removing cards like Squirrel Girl, Nightcrawler, and Kitty Pryde from the equation.
Marvel Snap’s latest additionto the Bloodstone season, Man-Thing, can also be headache for Elsa Bloodstone decks as his ability reduces the Power of all 1, 2, and 3-Cost cards at a location by -2. Since most Elsa Bloodstone decks will likely be full of low-cost cards, this ability can be devastating without having Luke Cage to prevent their Power from being reduced. Similarly, Mobius M. Mobius can throw a wrench into bounce decks that feature Elsa Bloodstone since his ability prevents the opponent’s cards from having their Cost reduced, which is one of the key features of using Beast in a bounce deck.
