Over the last decade, the world ofMinecrafthas grown as the developers at Mojang have looked to periodically update the game. That support appears to be continuing in 2022, as the game studio has revealed the Wild Update. This new version of the game promises to bring loads of stuff to the procedurally generated worlds, including two new biomes: Deep Dark and Swamp. In addition, several mobs are expected to come in this update, such as the Warden.
TheWarden looks to be one of the most powerful mobsinMinecraft. In the game world, it is a hostile mob that is summoned by Sculk Shriekers, another addition in the Wild Update. Wardens use vibrations and sense of smell to track players, and they are a dangerous foe since they have an enormous amount of health. Recently, one gamer came up with a unique piece of artwork that made the Warden look even scarier than it already is.

In a post on Reddit, a user known as DrZorteus shared an image they created based onMinecraft. However, this was no ordinary picture, as they had decided to make the Warden from the upcoming Wild Update. What made this artwork stand out was that the Reddit user chose to recreate the hostile mob in a more realistic art style. As a result, the finished product was horrifying, to say the least.
In the image, the Warden stood in what appeared to be a dank, dark cave. There were a pair of light sources found in the scene; one was from a torch in the foreground, while the other came from the Warden itself. The physical appearance of the creature was nightmare fuel for many, as it had pail flesh and massive hands that were attached to disproportionately long arms. In addition, it contained an open rib cage that presumably held the doomed souls of those it consumed. Furthermore, it had a pair of horns set on opposite sides of its gaping maw.
Unsurprisingly, this stunning artwork based on the Warden caught the attention of numerous members of theMinecraftcommunity on Reddit. With over 19.9K upvotes in less than a day, many were impressed and probably horrified by the realistic reimagining of the Warden. “This looks awesome but it gives me the creeps,” PlanktonPractical248 said on Reddit. In addition, some fans, such as No_Recognition8641, pointed out that it looked like a monster that could befeatured inStranger Things.
This realistic picture of the Warden from the upcomingWild Update forMinecraftis doubtlessly exciting for many fans. It will be interesting to see what other creations are made by members of the community as they continue to wait for whenever The Wild.
