Diamond Rookie Honus Wagner is the reward for reaching the 20-win mark, along with 2,500 XP. The 90-overall center-fielder comes with excellent stat lines and six quirks: Hitting Machine, 20/20 Vision, Speedster, Thief, Pressure Cooker, and Bunt Master.MLB The Show 22’s center-fielder positioncan be a tricky one to fill, but with Hall of Famer Wagner in the lineup, players will be at ease when balls are struck into the outfield while feeling as comfortable when he steps up to the plate. The eight-time batting title champion excels at connecting with swings, comes with excellent base-running speed, and tends to perform better when runners are on base, making him an elite batter in the game.
If a player’s bullpen is screaming for some reinforcements, Diamond Prime Steve Cishek may be the answer they’re looking for. The 91-overall, right-handed pitcher comes with absurdly-good stats and six quirks: Pressure Cooker, Stingy, Untouchable, Control Artist, Grounded, and Sinkerballer. His ability to strike out opposing players, or limit their chance at earning bases with his groundout technique, could make Cishek one ofthe best closing pitchers inMLB The Show 22. Players will have to get to 25 wins during the campaign to obtain Cishek, along with 2,500 stubs.
The event lasts until April 21, making it the longest campaign since the launch ofMLB The Show 22. If players are looking forways to earn more stubs, this event rewards players with a total of 10,000 of the game’s currency, as long as they reach 40 wins. Players can also amass 17,500 XP, making the event a great opportunity to build up experience and grab some more level-up rewards. For pack-opening enthusiasts, reaching 50 wins grants players a total of 19 packs to open, including 13 The Show packs.
