It’s been a little over a year since the initial release of the wildly successfulMortal Kombat 11and since that time, a lot of additional content has been added for the game. Much like its predecessor,Mortal Kombat X, the game has had a multitude of new characters added to the main game. However, it seems thatMortal Kombat 11has once again taken a page from its predecessor’s book.

Mortal Kombatis one of the most well-known fighting game series in the history of video games. It’s a series that is infamous for its bloody aesthetic, brutal acts of violence, and its precise combat system that has been fine-tuned to perfection. Though, not intended for every player, the game does feature manycharacters with intuitive play styles.

As mentioned previously,Mortal Kombat 11features many downloadable characters in addition to its extensive cast of playable characters. However, SteamDB has seemingly leaked a version ofMortal Kombat 11similar toMortal Kombat XL,which may include all of the character DLC. The game will supposedly be calledMortal Kombat 11 Aftermath Kollection.

Presumably, theAftermath Kollectionwill include every piece of DLC content that has been previously released forMortal Kombat 11. However, it has been rumored that there will be an additional piece of content included in this version of the game to justify having to purchase the game an additional time. Most of these rumors point toRobocoppotentially being a new fighter, but nothing has been confirmed yet.

There’s still a lot that remains to be seen regarding theAftermath Kollection, especially when it comes to additional content specific to this version of the game. It’s possible that Robocop could be a new fighter, but there have also been rumors thatAsh WilliamsfromEvil Deadcould be making an appearance as well.

Hopefully, more information regarding theAftermath Kollectionand the secondKombat Packwill actually get confirmed in the coming months. Having said all this, it seems a bit deceptive to have fans ofMortal Kombat 11buy the game again supposedly at the same retail price, just to have all this additional content included. Perhaps, NetherRealm will release a DLC bundle that allows players that already own the game to get all of the DLC from one place.

Mortal Kombat 11is out now for PC, PS4, Stadia, Switch, and Xbox One.
