Mortal Online 2expands the early access version’s combat system, allowing players to use multiple different types of weapons throughout. The game is filled withPVE and PVP content, as well as an extensive crafting system that allows players to build unique combinations to suit their play style. To help players decide what works best for them, here’s how to use all the available weapon types inMortal Online 2.
10The Two-Handed Axe
Two-handed axes are an archetype of weapon inMortal Online 2that has more variations than others. They are an extended version of regular axes that providemore range, slower attack speed, and increased damage options.
The slower attack speed may be detrimental compared to other weapons during PVP, but they will do the job against bandits and during other PVE battles. Players should be aware that the damage of a two-handed axe is dependent on weight, which makes the materials used to craft them matter more than most.

9The Two-Handed Mace
Two-handed maces are another extension archetype inMortal Online 2.This type consists of sledgehammers, war hammers, war clubs, flanged maces, and star maces. Two-handed maces haveslightly more attack speed than two-handed axes, but have a higher chance to perform handle hits than other weapons.

Two-handed maces also have increased damage over regular maces depending on their weight. They fall into the blunt damage category, which may discourage some players from using them in PVP situations.
8The One-Handed Sword
The one-handed sword inMortal Online 2is one of the most used weapons in the game. Itslow stamina drain and high damagemake it a “best in slot” weapon in the current meta with suitable materials. One-handed swords also havehigh attack speed, which makes them difficult to block.
One-handed swords are also less likely to proc handle hits like other extended weapons, which makes their damage more consistent. They are not weight-dependent, and do more efficient damage than blunt damage weapons. Players should experiment with blade types and find the best fit for their play style.

7The Two-Handed Sword
The two-handed sword is astaple in most medieval genre games. It hasslightly below average attack speed, but is less likely to proc a handle hit while in combat. It hasmore range and damage than one-handed swords.

The contact arc and animation set for the attacks of the two-handed sword also make it hard to react to,making parrying and defending difficult. This weapon is a favorite amongst fans of the fantasy genre, and many design aspects of the weapon while crafting will not disappoint new players.
6The Polesword
The polesword is an interesting type inMortal Online 2.It consists of a long shaft, with a short sword blade at the tip. Theattack speed of the polesword is relatively low and it is very likely to cause handle hits, which could hurt in both PVP and PVE content.
The most redeeming quality of this weapon type is itsrange, having more than most. It is able to keep attackers at bay, but not much else. Players may find this weapon clunky and not worth the hassle56 .

5The Poleaxe
Poleaxes are very similar to the poleswords. They deal slightly more damage, but are just as slow in attack speed. Their range varies, and they dp not have double-bladed variants like the other axes in the game. The poleaxe is also very likely to proc handle hits, proving detrimental in PVP situations.
Another prevalent issue with poleaxes is the wide arc in which they hit things, causing a lot of clashing withthe game’s terrainand friendly fire damage. However, when facing multiple enemies in PVE, this weapon will prove helpful with itsrange and damage.

4The One-Handed Mace
The one-handed mace is a moderate weapon consisting of variations such as a sledgehammer, war hammer, war club, flanged mace, and star mace. The one-handed mace deals weight-dependent blunt damage, which is not favorable in the current build of the game.

While handle hits are likely using the one-handed mace, thestamina drain to damage ratio is in the player’s favor.Unfortunately, it is not possible to say thatthe mace performs as well as other weapon types in the game.
3The One-Handed Axe
One-handed axes are a shorter, lighter version of full-length two-handed axes inMortal Online 2. Theydeal less damage with their lighter weight, but gain higher attack speed as a trade-off.
However, one-handed axes also suffer from a distinct range disadvantage that can lead to many misjudged swings and handle hits, leaving the player open to counter hits. Players may want to pair this weapon with a shield to aid their defense, or dual wield this weapon.

2The Dagger
The dagger is the lightest weapon inMortal Online 2. While it does not have exceptional damage or range, it hasadequate attack speed along with the lowest stamina drain in the game.
Unfortunately, there is a high likelihood to proc handle hits with this weapon, which is very detrimental in PVP situations. However, there are dual wield builds that highlight the attack speed of the dagger and utilize the mobility of characters that are performing well in the game that may fit many players’ play styles.

1The Spear
The spear is perhaps the most accessible weapon to make next to the Dagger insideMortal Online 2. While a large weapon, it is not as heavy as maces or poleswords. Its attack speed is slightly faster, but its stamina drain is around the same as other weapons of its type.
The spear works very well with mounted combat, taking advantage of the ability to use it in one hand. Players can also pair a shield with this weapon and become like the Spartans of old with the right build.
