With a plethora of classic titles that have been released over a variety of gaming generations by Capcom, there is no surprise to see fans eager for them to be revisited. Just as one of, if not the studio’s most popular titleResident Evil 4has been remade and revamped for a modern experience, along with the RE Engine fully being utilized, remaking some of the classic hits from years back could very much result in the same level of success as the aforementioned.

While sights are set on the upcomingStreet Fighter 6release, along with the development ofDragon’s Dogma 2, and a potentialResident Evil 9title, there are numerous options for Capcom to make in the aspect of recapturing the lightning bolt its older titles once did.
5Devil May Cry
Among all the entries within theDevil May Cryfranchise, the first game is one of those along with its sequel that some may be unfamiliar with. While it was certainly a success, seeing this revamped and remade to fit the standards thatDevil May Cry 5has set with the RE Engine, is most certainly one that will leave fans impressed. Not only will this help reshape and raise the title’s popularity and the franchise altogether, but it will also encourage those who have not played it yet to do so in better quality.
With the ending ofDevil May Cry 5seeing both Dante and Vergil leave Nero behind to take care of demons above, a large majority of fans have called for the next title to be a prequel revolving around Sparda, or a remake and thisDevil May Cry 1would be the perfect start for this.

4Devil May Cry 3 Dante’s Awakening
WhileDevil May Cry 2was one of the poorly received titles of the franchise and would certainly be helped with a remake, it does not outweigh the level of requests from fans for the series' big hitterDevil May Cry 3 Dante’s Awakeningto be next in line. Standing as a must-play classic for the PlayStation 2 and one of the best hack-and-slash titles of all time, this is one of the more realistic options for Capcom to revisit among a plethora of titles that have been released.

Its story is arguably the most important out of all the games, as it is the first game in chronological order, and explains the events ofDevil May Cry 1with Nelo Angelo (Vergil), who is corrupted by Mundus, and has some of the best stylish gameplay in the series. If Capcom were to use the template ofDevil May Cry 5for aDevil May Cry 3remake, it is highly likely that it will outperform the 2019 title.
Despite the vast number of options players have for zombie games in this generation of gaming, one of the more popular and successful franchises was Capcom’sDead Rising. With some of the entries later down the line in the franchise, such asDead Rising 2,having more success and notoriety, remaking the first game should be a priority in the aspect of Capcom giving this a green light. Given its old age from its release in 2006, seeing this get extra attention is justifiable consideringResident Evil 4(2005) being remade which was only released a year earlier.

As aforementioned, the RE Engine has taken Capcom’s remakes and new releases to a completely different level in comparison to its older games, and the prospect ofDead Risingfollowing suit could result in one of the best renditions of a zombie title yet.
2God Hand
One of the more underrated games among all of Capcom’s blockbusters,God Handis a title that is unique and special for a variety of reasons. Its combat is one of the best in gaming, with the ability to mix moves and experiment with different styles in combat encounters, and managing to keep the same cheesy and B-movie tone that titles such asResident Evil 4featured as it was by the same director Shinji Mikami. Rumors of a remake withMikami, Platinum Games, and Capcom have been prevalentand many fans would assume it is a possibility.
While it may be hard to recapture all the aspects of the 2006 title, given the different styles of titles within modern gaming, the potential ofGod Hand’s combat and chaotic gameplaybeing revamped within the RE Engine would more than likely be a major success for Capcom.

1Dino Crisis
A title very similar to the earlyResident Evilgames in terms of gameplay features and fixed camera angles,Dino Crisisremains one of the most requested remakes from fans of Capcom. With the announcement and reveal of the upcomingExoprimal, many fans were disappointed and frustrated as the trailer hinted towards it beingDino Crisis, with a character model that resembled its main character, Regina, appearing, only to be revealed as an entirely new title instead.
While the similarities betweenExoprimalandDino Crisisare present, especially among the enemies, it has not changed fans' stance on their wish for the genuineDino Crisisto be revisited. Depending onExoprimal’ssuccess levels, it could have a very huge impact on whether Capcom decides to grant fans' wishes or not.
