10Sylphiette
Sylphiette, more commonly known as Sylphy or Fitts, is Rudeus’ childhood friend and one of his most treasured companions.Though they were separatedat a young age, Sylphy never forgot about Rudeus and trained in earnest to someday be of use to him. Sylphy is one of the very few characters in the series who can use voiceless incantation and was taught by Rudeus when they were still kids.
In addition to this, she was very helpful on his arrival at the Ranoa Magic Academy and aided him greatly in conducting research. Rudeus also taught her about math, magic, and other useful topics, which puts her well above the average student.
9Aisha Greyrat
Aisha Greyrat is Rudeus’ half-sisterborn of Paul and Lilia’s union. She is a cunning girl with wisdom beyond her years and was raised to be a proper and respectful maid. Her mother brought her up this way for the sake of serving Rudeus, and though Aisha was reluctant at first, she eventually warmed up to the idea after seeing her brother in action.
She also has a manipulative personality, which catches people off guard due to her young age. Skillfully manipulating characters like Rujierd and Rudeus to her advantage without their realization, she is a handful to deal with and possesses a good understanding of how people work.
8Zanoba Shirone
Early on in the series, Zanoba was known more for his eccentric behavior and irregular strength. He was endlessly fascinated by Roxy’s figurine and could snap a grown man’s neck with very little effort. He has been through his fair share of trauma and hardship, killing his brother as a three-year-old child and killing his wife as a fifteen-year-old. Now, however, he holds more control over his powers and engages in more productive endeavors.

He produces useful inventions for Rudeus and is a skilled craftsman. His intellect also aids him in conducting research, and he is able to offer valuable insight into many related areas.
7Cliff Grimoire
Cliff is a proud mage who was introduced on one of Eris’ solo journeys. From the get-go, he displayed extreme arrogance and believed himself to be a genius with no equal. Though he greatly exaggerates his own abilities, he is somewhat capable and grows considerably as the series progresses.
He possesses profound values and is a hard worker, especially when it comes to things he cares about. After falling in love with Elinalise, he studied extensively and was able to create a magic tool that couldsuppress the curseshe had harbored for over a hundred years. He later becomes one of Rudeus’ close friends and continues to assist the series protagonist.
6Roxy Migurdia
Roxy is one of the strongest mages in the series who also knows a lot about magic. A testament to this fact is that she is responsible for a large part of Rudeus’ growth as a child and contributed immensely to him being the mage he is today. Though her powers pale in comparison to Rudeus, she is a notable character with vast intellect, capable of making rational decisions.
Though she can be clumsy at times, she is very driven and has shown promise from a young age. While schooling at the Ranoa Magic Academy, she was able to learn one ofher teachers’ greatest spellsand can patiently teach her skills to others.
5Nanahoshi Shizuka
Nanahoshi’s origins stem from Rudeus’ original world, and a great deal of her wisdom comes from that fact. Her main aim is to return home, and unlike Rudeus, she doesn’t undergo a complete reincarnation. Soon after she was teleported, she met with Orsted and leveraged her intellect to perform some amazing feats.
For example, she created trade routes across different regions and gained the favor of Perugius, a powerful dragon king. She hasbecome a successful entrepreneurwith her exploits apparent in different areas, and she knows a lot about summoning magic.
4Perugius Dola
Perugius is one of the Seven Great Heroes and has lived for over four hundred years. Due to his age, he has accumulated a large amount of knowledge and possesses great wisdom. He is extremelyknowledgeable in teleportation and summoning magic, both of which he taught Nanahoshi. He is extremely powerful but remains wary of other strong opponents, determined to stay alive until the revival of the Demon God Laplace.

He has an intimidating exterior but is capable of compassion and kindness. Though he hates those born of the demon race, he makes exceptions depending on the qualities specific individuals display.
3Rudeus Greyrat
Rudeus is the extremely overpowered yet pragmatic protagonist of the series. Coming from another world, he possesses exclusive knowledge about certain things and was born with a more mature mind than his body, allowing him to develop quicker than his peers. From a young age, he was able to perform voiceless incantation and cast powerful magic spells, he also acted as a tutor and was very capable in battle.
As he grows older, he displays excellent capability to survive and adapt, making mistakes,learning from them, and making more rational decisions after. He has also earned the respect of several influential figures, making him an indispensable ally.
2Orsted
Orsted is another member of the dragon race who has lived for an extended period of time. His main adversary is Hitogami, and most times, he becomes enraged at the thought of him. He has shown to be very rational and direct,killing anyone he believesto be an apostle of Hitogami immediately and not wasting any time while doing so.
He is also very experienced and is capable of taking multiple actions in a one-second window, a feat which would allow him to counter Rudeus’ foresight eye. Due to experiencing similar timelines over multiple iterations, Orsted is also very knowledgeable about the world and can easily offer advice that could change a person’s destiny.
1Hitogami
Hitogami is the overarching antagonist of the series and has played this role long before the story began. He is a manipulative being who is capable of appearing in people’s dreams and influencing their decisions. His goal is to eliminate all possible adversaries and be reborn into a physical body, but this has proven difficult due to the efforts of Rudeus and Orsted.
Thesadistic deity also relisheswatching people suffer and is capable of reading their minds. Furthermore, he possesses the ability to predict and influence the future to a large extent, giving direction based on the situations he wants to achieve.
