10Susano’o
The Susano’o is arguably the strongest defensive technique inNaruto. Unique to themembers of the Uchiha Clan, it can only be used by individuals who have awakened the Mangekyou Sharingan in both eyes.
The Susano’o is a colossal humanoid formed from the user’s chakra, and can block most of the attacks that are thrown its way. The technique is extremely draining, which is why most individuals could not maintain it for a prolonged period. While the Susano’o is extremely durable, many characters have actually managed to break its defenses.
9Yata Mirror

4Kamui
Kamui is an ability of Obito Uchiha’s Mangekyou Sharingan, and there are several variations of the technique. Kamui allows its user to make parts of their body intangible, which allows all the attacks to pass through.
The technique can also be used to send objects or other people to the Kamui’s dimension. It is extremely difficult to bypass Kamui’s power, as the user can easily escape to another dimension. The technique also allows its user to launch surprise attacks.
3Truth-Seeking Ball
The Truth-Seeking Balls can be used both offensively and defensively, and can be composed of all five natures and Yin-Yang Release. These balls are extremely durable and can withstand the strongest of attacks.
As displayed by Obito and Madara, Truth-Seeking Balls are able to bypass the effects of the Impure World Reincarnation. Furthermore, it is impossible for a normal person to touch the truth-seeking balls without losing the part that makes contact with the truth-seeking balls.
2Shinra Tensei
Shinra Tensei is one of the most powerful techniques in the series. With the Six Paths of Pain, Nagato Uzumaki was able to harness the power of this technique. He was able to destroy more than half of the Hidden Leaf with Shinra Tensei, which the left village with countless casualties.
