The Senju Clan is one of the most powerful clans inNaruto. It was formed many years prior to the series, and in a short time, it became renowned for its strength. The Senju Clan members are thedescendants of Asura Otsutsuki, which is why they are blessed with a great deal of chakra.
Over the years, the Senju Clan has become almost obscure. This is mainly because the quality of the fighters within the clan has gone down. But at one time, the Senju Clan was filled with incredibly powerful ninjas. With that in mind, here are all the characters who hail from the Senju Clan.
8Nawaki Senju
Nawaki was the younger brother of Tsuande. He dreamed of becoming the Hokage one day. Nawaki shared a handful of qualities with Naruto Uzumaki. They were both fully devoted to their dreams of becoming the Hokage and wouldn’t let anything stop them.
Nawaki also had a strong sense of justice, so he always tried to do the right thing. Unfortunately, Nawaki didn’t get the opportunity to realize his dream, as he died after walking into an explosive trap. His death traumatized Tsunade for years, and she couldn’t get over it until after meeting Naruto Uzumaki.
7Kawarama Senju
A Talented Ninja
Kawarama Senju was a young ninja who fought for the clan in the Warring States period. He was the son of Butsuma Senju and the brother of Hashirama, Tobirama, and Itama. Kawarama had a great deal of talent, which earned him a lot of respect on the battlefield.
However, his life came to an end in one of the battles. He was surrounded and killed by the members of the Uchiha Clan. Kawarama’s death left a significant impact on the minds of Hashirama and his other siblings.
6Itama Senju

Itama Senju was the son of Butsuma Senju. He was a kind-hearted individual who did not like violence. He would get easily overwhelmed if he saw a tragedy befall his clansmen. This behavior did not sit well with his father, who wanted all of his children to be elite ninjas.
Unfortunately, Itama wasn’t able to live for long. He met his end at the hands of several Uchiha Clan members. His death did not go in vain, as Hashirama used it as motivation to stop the constant fighting, once and for all.
5Toka Senju

Toka Senju was a female ninja who served as Hashirama’s close aide. She was a top ninja who was well-respected by her fellow clansmen. The full extent of Toka’s abilities remains unclear, but shewas a renowned genjutsu user.
It is possible that she might have practiced with Hashirama, who was also adept at using genjutsu. Due to her limited screen time, it is unclear what other abilities Toka possessed.
4Butsuma Senju

Butsuma Senju was the father of Hashirama, Tobirama, Itama, and Kawarama. He led the Senju Clan during the Warring States period. Like most ninjas of his time, Butsuma was an effective killing machine who was solely focused on results.
Usually stoic, Butsuma would lose his cool if his sons talked back to him or questioned his ideals. For instance, he hit Hashirama when he spoke about children being used as ninja tools. Bustuma’s strength remains a mystery, but it is plausible to assume that he was one of the stronger ninjas of his time.

A Member Of The Legendary Sannin
Tsunade is the granddaughter of Hashirama Senju. Even though she was spoiled by her grandfather, Tsunade grew up to be an incredible ninja. She was a part of Hiruzen Sarutobi’s team, along with Jiraiya and Orochimaru. The three trained together, and they were considered the future of the Hidden Leaf.
Tsunade specialized in medicalninjutsu, and her techniques revolutionized the entire field. She saved countless lives in wars, and without her, the Hidden Leaf would have suffered many more casualties. Aside from medical expertise, Tsunade also possesses ridiculous physical strength and stamina. She was able to break massive boulders with a single punch.
2Tobirama Senju
The Inventor Of Multiple Jutsu
Tobirama Senju was the Second Hokage of the Hidden Leaf. He came to power after his elder brother passed away. Tobirama was more ruthless and shrewd than Hashirama. He was responsible for creating many facilities within the Hidden Leaf.
When it came to fighting prowess, Tobirama was just phenomenal. Thanks to his Flying Thunder God technique, hewas the fastest ninjaof his time. Tobirama also created many techniques that were considered so powerful that they were labeled as Kinjutsu. Tobirama’s reign as the Hokage would have lasted longer had he not been ambushed by Kinkaku and Ginkaku.
1Hashirama Senju
The God of Ninjas
Hashirama Senju founded the Hidden Leaf along with his rival and best friend, Madara Uchiha. The two wanted to save others from losing their family members. Due to Hashirama’s cheerful and kind nature, he was namedthe first Hokage of the Hidden Leaf.
Hashirama was a reincarnate of Asura Otsutsuki, which gave him a lot more chakra than the other characters. He was also able to use Wood Release, which is among the strongest Kekkei Genkai in the series. With this power, Hashirama was able to defeat Madara and the Nine-Tails at the same time. Hashirama was also able to use all five Nature Releases, which is something that not many ninjas could boast of.
