New Pokemon Snapis finally here and players are taking the time to explore the wonderfulPokemonadventure that the team over at Bandai Namco has crafted. While finding andtaking pictures of every single Pokemonis going to take a bit of time,New Pokemon Snapmakes the journey quite enjoyable overall.
On top of all of the ordinary Pokemon players can encounter in certain locations,New Pokemon Snaphouses several different Pokemon that players are going to have to put in work to find. One of those legendary Pokemon hidden inNew Pokemon Snap, being the Psychic/Flying-type Lugia, is actually a bit challenging to get to and requires a fair amount of planning.

Where to Find Lugia and What Players Need
Though Lugia is a Psychic/Flying-type Pokemon, it’s actually commonly associated with the water. As such, Lugia can be found in the Lental Seafloor location inNew Pokemon Snap. The Lental Seafloor location is unlocked a decent way through the game, so players are going to have to put in some hours before they can reach the area. Tounlock the Lental Seafloor location, players must first reach research level 2 in Maricopia Reef (Day). Next, players are going to need a certain type of Illumina Orb before they can actually reach Lugia.
Specifically, players are going to needpink Illumina Orbs to unlockan alternate path that will take them to Lugia’s location. Thankfully, pink Illumina Orbs can be unlocked in the Lental Seafloor as well. Players will need to take a picture of a glowing pink Frillish to unlock these types of Illumina Orbs. With these pink Illumina Orbs, players can begin their quest to find Lugia in the Lental Seafloor.
First, players are going to want to choose the Undersea portion of the Lental Seafloor and look for a Clawitzer early on in the level. Players are going to want to hit this Clawitzer with pink Illumina orbs and follow it. Provided the Clawitzer is still glowing pink, it should open upan alternate route for playersto scan and take further into the level. Next, players are going to want to look out for a Lanturn being chased by Sharpedo. Players need to throw Illumina Orbs at the Lanturn so that it will escape. Then, a Wailord will rise up followed by two Frillish who have grabbed onto the Lanturn.
Again, hit the Lanturn with an Illumina Orb so that can escape again and swim away, where players can follow it. Once Lanturn swims through and exits the cavern, players will want to scan once again to go into another new area. From here, players can findLugia inNew Pokemon Snap, where it is sleeping underwater. To wake it up, players need to hit the pink crystalbloom flowers with pink Illumina Orbs, which will allow players to take a better picture of the legendary Pokemon.
