During an interview withSlash Film, Joel Edgerton indicated that he’s unaware of anything regardingObi-Wan Kenobiseason 2 and whether Lucasfilm is considering another edition of the show. Edgerton said, “I haven’t heard. Either it’s happening and they don’t want me or it, I don’t know, I haven’t, no. The short answer is no, I haven’t. And I’m not even faking that I don’t know.” Additionally, the actor mentioned that if there’s anObi-Wan Kenobiseason 2, and he’s involved, his appearance would be different.
If it does happen, and I am in it, I’ll probably be wearing brown, or some shade of brown. That’s all I know.
Edgerton plays Owen Lars inObi-Wan Kenobi, Luke Skywalker’s step-uncle and surrogate father. This is not the first time the actor has played the character. He previously appeared as Lars in the 2002 movieAttack of the Clones and 2005’sRevenge of the Sith. The actor received praise for his performance in the Disney Plus series, and fans have wondered if they will ever be able to see him again in theStar Warsuniverse.
