While this is amazing news for Xbox fans who enjoy Devolver’s indie games, the bulk of the publisher’s upcoming lineup looks to be skipping out on Xbox and even PlayStation as of now. Currently, the only game slated for all three consoles istheZelda-inspired adventure gameThe Plucky Squirecoming later this year. Other interesting-looking Devolver games set to launch in 2023 likeGunbrella, Skate Story,andAnger Footare only slated for PC, with Doinksoft’sGunbrellaalso launching on Switch. While this may seem disappointing for fans of Devolver Digital’s games on Xbox and PlayStation, it’s common for Devolver games to launch initially on PC and make their way to the console platforms a year or so down the line, as seen most recently withInscryption.
With the summer fast approaching it wouldn’t be a surprise to see Devolver continue its annual summer showcase antics.
